The Summit League has awarded Summit League Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year honors every season since 1982-83. The two coaches who have won the award the most times are Homer Drew and Greg Kampe (four each). Valparaiso, Oakland, Oral Roberts and North Dakota State are the programs with the most awards (four each), followed by Western Illinois, South Dakota State, Cleveland State and Southwest Missouri State (three each). Parenthesis indicate number of awards for that coach or school.
