The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has awarded “The Rock” Men’s Basketball MAAC Coach of the Year honors every season since 1981-82. The coach that has won the award the most times is former Niagara head coach Joe Mihalich, with three total. Iona is the program with the most awards (eight), followed by Manhattan and Saint Peter’s (five each). Parenthesis indicate number of awards for that coach or school.
