The Big South Conference has awarded Big South Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year honors every season since 1985-86. The two coaches who have won the award the most times are Eddie Biedenbach and Gregg Marshall (four each). UNC Asheville is the program with the most awards (seven), followed by Charleston Southern and Winthrop (six each).
