The Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) has awarded Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Coach of the Year honors every season since 1976-77 (with the exception of 1978). The coach to win the award the most times is Temple’s John Chaney, with five total. Temple and Rhode Island are the programs with the most awards (seven each), followed by Saint Joseph’s (six), Duquesne and St. Bonaventure (four each).
